….Flags off Construction of internal roads in Aleto Eleme.
The Executive Chairman of Eleme LGA Council Chief Hon Obarilomate Ollor has been rated high in workers’ welfare package and prompt Payment of Salaries by the National Union of Local Government Employees NULGE Eleme Council.
These came as 14 civil servants who merited over 80% attendance to work within the month received cash gifts from the Executive Chairman of the Council as motivation.
In an interactive session with the workers, Chief Ollor commended them for their effort and contribution towards the success of his administration and assured them of his continuous support for their welfare and wellbeing.
Chief Ollor stated that civil servants are the brain behind the success of any administration and now he understands why his excellency E.N Wike, decided to reward them civil servants by supporting one of their own in the person of Sir SIMINALAYI FUBARA to succeed him as the governor of Rivers State, and they should be grateful to Gov. Wike for the gesture.
The Executive Chairman said his administration will continue to do more in approving the training for civil servants due for training, and other entitlements due them while informing them of the plan of his administration to relocate the secretariat to a more befitting site before the end of his administration, noting that the groundbreaking ceremony for the new council secretariat will be on the 17th of June, 2023.
On his part, the NULGE chairman Comr Gospel Mimi, during his opening remarks, thanked the Chairman for always giving prompt attention to the yearnings of the civil servants and stated that in their meetings of chairmen of NULGE at the state level, Chief Ollor stands as number one, when it comes to prompt and complete payment of workers salary.
Also speaking during the meeting was the Head of Local Government Administration HLGA, Dr Cyril Ihumba and the Head of Personnel Management Chief Mrs Rose Osaroigwe who took turns to hail the chairman and expressed their joy over the good working synergy between the chairman and them.
Meanwhile, the Executive Chairman of Eleme Local Government Area, Chief Hon. Obarilomate Ollor has flagged off the construction of 19km of internal roads at Aleto Community. The project which is being carried out by Aleto Community Trust is in partnership with the Council as the Chairman has promised to give the needed support to ensure timely completion of the project.
Flagging off the project, Chief Ollor stated that the construction of the internal road is a fulfilment of the vision of the leadership of the community.
The LGA Chairman who thanked the Governor for ensuring the host community received the dividends from indorama Eleme petrochemical company also hailed the Leaders of Aleto and the Aleto Community Trust.
